  1. Terms & Conditions of Use for DNSResolver and the associated interface code

  4. In the legal declaration below, "This Product" is defined to be all the
  5. files within the original archive
  6.  
  7. "the author" is Stewart Brodie (S.N.Brodie@ecs.southampton.ac.uk)

  9. This version of this product is 'freeware'.  My definition of 'freeware': 
  10. This means that the author retains copyright over the product, but allows
  11. unlimited distribution except:

  13.    i) No charge must be made (except for a nominal fee for distribution media)
  14.   ii) This Product must be distributed as a complete package
  15.  iii) This Product may not be distributed as part of a non-free
  16.       [free as in (i)] package (of any kind, magazine/hardware/software)
  17.       without prior written consent from the author.

  19. This version may be freely uploaded to FTP sites, provided all the above
  20. conditions are met.

  22. No liability whatsoever is accepted by the author of this product for losses
  23. or damage of any kind at all arising, or allegedly arising, from the use, or
  24. misuse, of This Product.

  26. The author does not guarantee the functionality of the package, and does not
  27. guarantee to fix any reported bugs, although the author will investigate bug
  28. reports and may release new versions.

  30. You may distribute the module providing you meet the above terms.

  33. by indirecting through any of the AOF files supplied, or by using the AOF
  34. file containing the complete standalone code, or by any oher means use the
  35. DNS resolver code or its support code, then you must give a credit in the
  36. documentation of the product.   If the product is FreeWare, then the author
  37. must be offered a copy. If the product is ShareWare, then you may use it
  38. freely provided the author gets a free registered copy of the software.   If
  39. the product is commercial, or anything else not mentioned here, then the
  40. author must get a free registered copy.
